Ritchie has over 30 years working experience in the industry. He specialises in soil and groundwater contamination assessment, remediation and monitoring, groundwater resource evaluation, development and management, environmental risk assessment, environmental auditing and environmental management for rural areas, specialising in estuaries and the coastal zone. Ritchie is affiliated to several professional societies and associations.

Years of Experience: 20

Molla Demlie is a senior hydro geologist with over 20 years of experience. He has held technical and academic positions throughout Ethiopia at various organizations (such as the Ministry of water resources, environmental rehabilitation commission and Mekelle University). Since early 2007, he has been working as senior lecturer of hydrogeology at the University of KwaZulu-Natal and is active in teaching, graduate supervision, research and consultancy services related to groundwater. Since then, he has been involved in a number of research and consulting projects and gave professional on the job training. Dr Demlie has authored and co-authored more than 18 peer reviewed research paper in internationally renowned journals and presented numerous peer-reviewed conference papers related to groundwater.
